DELIVERY
The Wine Seller uses a variety of delivery couriers to provide best service based upon weight, package dimensions and delivery location. Our main delivery partner is DHL.
Our wines are extremely well packaged. Our 750ml and Magnum Bottles are packed using an innovative inflated air-pac system together with additional cardboard outer shell corner packaging protection. Smaller 187ml bottles are boxed and each bottle individually bubble wrapped. Our experience has taught us that this is the best way of making sure your order arrives safely.

Delivery options for most products supplied are normally available for you to choose at ‘Check Out’.
These may include; Free Delivery, overnight, 48hr, Saturday deliveries or 3 – 5 working day deliveries and a 'Click & Collect' option.

Orders received by 1pm will be despatched on the same working day via DHL overnight.

Large quantities of wine deliveries (eg; typically over 250kg – 10 cases x 12 bottles) will be delivered on a pallet using a tail lift lorry with a hand pump truck. (No crane facilities). Unless stated at checkout, all these deliveries will be ‘Economy’ which is 3-5 working days from despatch.

IMPORTANT: We will always make our very best efforts to achieve these commitments, however during the current Pandemic goods may not always be received as promptly as requested. This is because our couriers are experiencing unprecedented demand for their services and on occasions are taking longer to deliver goods out to you as well as supplies into us. In addition, suppliers are experiencing reduced availability meaning that items showing as 'in stock' with our suppliers, may on occasions be short supplied to us.

These are circumstances beyond our control but we apologies in advance if this causes any upset or concern.

PALLET DELIVERIES & ACCESS
Delivery drivers are not expected to manoeuvre the pallet beyond the rear of the vehicle but will risk assess each delivery and always be as helpful as possible where conditions allow.
In the event of a delivery not being possible due to poor access, steep incline or gravel drive then the delivery will have to be “kerbside” (i.e. left as near to the property as possible). If this is still not possible on the day, a re-delivery charge of £20 may be imposed.

All goods must be checked on arrival and delivery paperwork signed unless a prior agreement has been made with the delivery company to leave the goods at the property at which point these will be left at the customer’s risk.

On making a bulk purchase, once delivered the pallet on which the product is delivered automatically becomes the property of the purchaser.

Any delivery issues must be reported immediately, and we will do our very best to rectify and issues.

Please Note: Lead times may extend during busy periods.
